  37. Not an answer.  I decide that the executables are not compressable enough to
  38. warrant the delay in uncompressing them, running them, and recompressing them.
  39. I decide to install a compressing disk instead, and compress all files.  I
  40. want to remove all infection from the files.

  48. Deleting the marker only stops compression.  If the marker file appears again,
  49. compression resumes.
