  15. My daughter Tamara, who works for a natural history museum, is looking for
  16. some advice on developing a CD-ROM.

  18. She was working on a major permanent exhibit on the Arctic.  Due to a
  19. change in requirements, she was asked to stop work on this exhibit, and
  20. instead to develop "outreach" products about the Arctic.  She would like
  21. to develop a CD-ROM about the Arctic, something she feels could have
  22. excellent outreach potential.  She would like this CD-ROM to act like a
  23. highly interactive museum exhibit; users could look at different parts of
  24. an Arctic environment, for example, and ask for more information on things
  25. that interest them.

  27. Her museum does not have much experience with CD-ROM's, so she would like
  28. some advice.  Are there any CD-ROM's on the Arctic that are already
  29. available?  If so, where could she find out about them?  Are there
  30. consulting firms that could advise on the structure of the content?  Are
  31. there books or other written materials that could assist in designing
  32. content suitable for the CD-ROM format?
