  13. Sendmail version 6.8 has been installed on FTP.CS.Berkeley.EDU in
  14. /ucb/sendmail/sendmail.6.8.tar.Z.

  16. This version includes an implementation of MX piggybacking based on
  17. ideas from John Gardiner Myers <jgm+@cmu.edu>.  Basically, this
  18. notices when two different hosts have the same set of MX records,
  19. and arranges to send the message in the same SMTP transaction.  It is
  20. only lightly tested, so caveat emptor.

  22. This version also includes postscript versions of the documentation,
  23. as several people have requested.  It is therefore somewhat larger
  24. than previous versions.
