- I haven't seen this particular book but I was once silly enough to buy a
- book by Herb Schildt, "Advanced Modula-2". It was my greatest ever waste of
- money on a book. It was trite, superficial and specialised in errors. I now
- recommend that if the author is Schildt, look for another book.

- I agree that the Stroustrup book (2nd Ed.) is good, but a beginner might
- find that Lippman's "C++ Primer", 2nd Ed. is more readable. When you get
- serious, have a look at Coplien's "Advanced C++ ....".
