- I had no trouble porting gnuplot to Linux. Mainly because on
- many of the linux sites, a gnuplot distribution may be found.
- I now have it running under linux/X and have run a precompiled
- binary quite happily with just VGA.

- Check tsx.mit.edu in the linux directories under graphics
- for the straight VGA binary, I havent seen the X binary, but
- it compiled out of the box with just a redifinition of a couple
- of libs in the makefile (it's been a
- while since I did this.)

- One feature of gnuplot under linux, is that it runs a *lot*
- faster than the DOS version (using VGA graphics).
