  27. I had no trouble porting gnuplot to Linux. Mainly because on 
  28. many of the linux sites, a gnuplot distribution may be found.
  29. I now have it running under linux/X and have run a precompiled 
  30. binary quite happily with just VGA.

  32. Check tsx.mit.edu in the linux directories under graphics
  33. for the straight VGA binary, I havent seen the X binary, but
  34. it compiled out of the box with just a redifinition of a couple
  35. of libs in the makefile (it's been a
  36. while since I did this.)

  38. One feature of gnuplot under linux, is that it runs a *lot*
  39. faster than the DOS version (using VGA graphics).
