- Hello,
- I'm working on a small animation using TGA files output from POV-Ray (IBMPC).
- If I output at a resolution higher than 320x200 (I usually use 640x480),
- using Dave's Targa Animator results, in a scrambled looking animation. It
- looks like the images have been interlaced and a wrap around problem exists.
- I am using the PLAY utility to play the resulting animation. Is there
- another player that handles larger resolutions or could it be a problem with
- the lack of support for my Diamond Stealth video card?
-
- Has anyone done any large animations with POV-Ray? Is there some type
- of shell available on the PC that will allow me to adjust things like camera,
- rotation of an object, etc. and spit out new scene description files in mass?
- For example, if I have four spheres that are placed above a checkered plane
- and I want to generate 2 seconds of animation (30 fps) of them rotating about
- the Y-axis, is there a way around having to create 60 individual POV files
- and edit each one to by hand to perform the needed rotations for each frame?
-
-
- Also, is there a POV-Ray mailing list?
-
- Thanks for any information you can provide.
