- Correct me if I'm wrong, but the animation of the Enterprise in ST:TNG is
- done with models, and not computers. They do this by taking several passes
- at the same shot. The first with no lights on, the second with the warp
- nacells lit, the third with the deflector dish lit, and possible a fourth.

- What you may be interested in is Babylon 5, which had a write-up about all
- of their computer equipment in Cinimefantastique. They extensively use
- Amigas w/toasters for their space sequences.
