  11. I have a 486 50MHZ PC at home, and an
  12. Apple Personal Laser Writer NTR.
  13. I can send POSTSCRIPT from the PC
  14. to the NTR over a Centronics parellel cable.
  15.  
  16. What I want to do is: Learn POSTSCRIPT programming,
  17. and plot fun things.

  19. SW-wise, I have Windows 3.1 and vi. No PS stuff.
  20. I assume I will need:
  21.  
  22.  (1) A POSTSCRIPT interpreter/compiler.
  23.  (2) Some PRIMATIVE Windows app, which need only 
  24.      read output of (1) & send the PS stream to the NTR.
  25.        (maybe 1 & 2 come togeather in some package).
  26.  (3) A Windows driver for said app.

  28. How might I obtain these? Preferably at low cost, it can
  29. be kludgey, it's just for fun.
