Buck Message-ID: <mtymp07.726348324@staff.tc.umn.edu> Sender: news@news2.cis.umn.edu (Usenet News Administration) Nntp-Posting-Host: staff.tc.umn.edu Organization: University of Minnesota Distribution: international Date: Wed, 6 Jan 1993 19:25:24 GMT Lines: 18 I am a relatively experienced user of PoV 1.0, and have recently gotten access to an SGI running System V; naturally, I installed PoV on it, and have been very happy. However, I have a problem with one data file that I originally created at home on my 386 and uploaded to the SGI. Whenever I kick it through PoV, I get a "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" error. The docs make no mention of this. Any help would be greatly appreciated; this is a piece of work I've been interested in doing for a while, and having to render it on a 386/16 with the SGI just sitting around is not my idea of a happy time.
