  15.     I'm trying to build ghostscript on VMS.

  17.     It comes with VMS-CC.MAK (which is really a *.COM) file
  18.     for doing this.  And it does seem to compile and run using
  19.     only the X windows driver.  When I try to build for supporting
  20.     GIF output files it also compiles, but crashes when run.

  22.     Has anyone gone through this and gotten the VMS version to
  23.     work with output to a GIF (or PBM or other) file?

  25.     I could really use any input anyone has on this or if anyone
  26.     has any other method of getting from PostScript to image on VMS.
