  21. The Computer Science Department at Hope College with support from the
  22. Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program of the National Science
  23. Foundation, is providing an opportunity for a number of undergraduate
  24. computer science students to participate in a ten-week research program.
  25.  
  26. Dates: May 24, 1993 to July 30, 1993

  28. Stipend: $2,600
  29.  
  30. Housing: On-campus housing provided at no cost
  31.  
  32. Travel: Limited travel funds are available for participants
  33.  
  34. Eligibility: Any student who will be enrolled in an undergraduate degree
  35.    program in Fall, 1993 is eligible. Women and members of minority groups
  36.    are particularly encouraged to apply.

  38. Projects: Research opportunities are available in the fields of Software
  39.    Development Environments for Parallel Programming, Algorithm Visualiza-
  40.    tion and Animation, and parallel genetic algorithms.
