  18. TI manuals can be obtained free by calling the DSP Hotline (713-274-2320),
  19. although we would not object if you wanted to pay.

  21. You should be aware that the TMS32020 (an NMOS device) was obsoleted several
  22. years ago and replaced by the TMS320C25 (CMOS).  The two are pin compatible,
  23. with the C25 having more instructions, faster speed, and other improvements
  24. over the '20.  I imagine that your equipment is a few years old since TI has
  25. not sold the 32020 on the market for several years.

  31. While not technically a DSP, I do have some info on it.  The 340 family is in
  32. the process of being obsoleted due to developments in the graphics market (it's
  33. a long story).    You can still get limited support by faxing questions to
  34. 713-274-4027.
