  15. A year and a half ago I did a survey of e-mail providers which one
  16. might use for his personal e-mail. I noticed recently that this was
  17. put in the telecom archives under the name "e-mail.systems.survey" and
  18. is beginning to need an update. I will undertake to update this survey
  19. but need some help. I tried to include those systems that had some
  20. sort of inbound communications system (e.g. Telnet, PSN, 800 number,
  21. etc) that would provide access from, at least, the continental US. A
  22. word or two were included about Fidonet and DASnet.

  24. The systems surveyed were:

  26. MCImail, ATTmail, EasyLink, GEnie, Pinet, Telemail (Omnet), World,
  27. Portal, Netcom, Compuserve, Fidonet and DASnet.

  29. I will not have room to include every public-access site and BBS in
  30. the country but would like to include pointers to where this
  31. information can be found.

  34. systems which should be included, please review the report in the
  35. archives and respond to me by email regarding updates, changes,
