  14. I have a friend who has a V26bis modem.
  15. Apparently it is bisynchronous, and 2400 bps.
  16. (He uses it to connect, I think, some IBM/36 machines)

  18. Does this make sense ?
  19. I've never heard of v26bis, let alone bisynchronous !
  20. If you have any information on the following he/I would be grateful :
  21.   - What is bisynchronous ?
  22.   - What is v26bis ?
  23.   - Are there other CCITTs I haven't heard of ?
  24.   - Is there bisynchronous 9600/14400 standard, and would this work ?
