  13. I recently bought a USR HST DS 16.8 with fax. The modem works just fine.
  14. It is possible to send a fax using "Blastfax", the program shipped with
  15. the modem. What I want to do is use WINFAX (version 2.0) instead.

  17. I copied the init-string a found in one of Blastfax's files and added
  18. a command to set the modem in fax-mode, ending up with:

  20. AT+FCLASS=1&FEQVX4&R2H1S0=0S13=1S19=3&D2

  22. When I try to send a fax, the call is placed all right but my modem and
  23. the answering fax never seem to shake hands. After a while the answering
  24. fax gets boredand hangs up, leaving me with an unsent fax.
