  11. You both forgot the most important reason, that us Sysops can never forget...

  13. Every so often a modem -- no matter how good -- will get in a state where
  14. it will not answer incoming calls or refuses to respond to AT commands
  15. from the BBS software.  Then you must power-cycle the modem.  This is
  16. somewhat difficult on internal modems!!!!
