- I am using a ZyXEL E+ and have call waiting on my phone line, which I also use
- for voice. I would like the modem to hang up when another call comes in so my
- phone will ring. (I usually run TCP sessions over PPP, so I don't care if
- connections are temporarily broken.)
-
- I set S10=1, but when a call comes in, the modem simply tries to retrain
- instead of hanging up. Is there any way of telling the modem to not retrain
- (and hang up) when the carrier is dropped, and to retrain when the line
- becomes otherwise noisy? I normally use the multi-auto DCE rate (&N0).
-
- Thanks,
- Tim
