  14. I have just purchased a Zoom VFX/V32bis faxmodem, and I am having 
  15. problems with downloading with zmodem.  I can not download anything
  16. without getting CRC error after CRC error and finally having sz 
  17. crash on me with "could not send block".  I have tried every possible
  18. combination of MNP 5, V.42, Xon/Xoff, RTS/CTS, etc.

  20. Now, the one thing I don't have is a 16550 UART.  I can't find any in
  21. the area, but will order one if that will solve my problems.  I was 
  22. under the impression that I would just get slower throughput, not 
  23. constant CRC errors if I did not have the 16550.

  25. Oh yeah, I'm using version 3.14 of zmodem by Omen.

  27. Also, for you Zoom owners out there, I can not get the Local Analog 
  28. Loopback test to work.  I type in ATS18=0 &T8 from command mode and
  29. get ERROR in return.
