- Anybody notice problems with Crosstalk for Windows doing Zmodem
- uploads? What is odd is that I have found that I can download
- Zmodem OK, and upload X- and Ymodem OK, I get what I call "zmodem
- thrash" while trying to upload.
-
- The "thrash" begins with a rediculously (sp?) high throughput display
- (e.g. 2300 cps on a 2400 baud connection), which continues to *increase*
- along with the number of bytes transmitted, while the graphical bar which
- depicts percentage completion "thrashes" between values (e.g. 5%, then
- 35%, then 45%, then 7%, then ...). Once the transmitted byte count reaches
- the value of the file size, the percentage complete bar skips to 100%,
- and then the timeout errors begin. This is usually where I manually kill
- the attempted transfer.
-
- It would appear to be a problem with Crosstalk for Windows, since
- I can upload successfully to the same remote computer using
- QModem with its zmodem protocol.
-
- Configuration:
- Gateway 486DX2/50
- TelePath modem
- Crosstalk for Windows ver. 1.2.2 (OEM version)
-
- Anybody know if this is related to the Ctrl-Break problem reported a
- while back?
-
- E-mail preferred.
