  17. my opinion is:  if you want to leave the modem unattended, by all means
  18. do not get this modem.  ours constantly gets hung in a strange state
  19. that can only be fixed by power-cycling.  if you are going to use it
  20. for dialing out and don't mind a sometimes finicky v.32bis modem
  21. (although cheap), then it may be ok.
