  13. I have a problem with a Zyxel 1496-E calling a Telebit WorldBlazer.

  15. The call is made from the Zyxel in v.32bis with either no compression or
  16. v.42bis to a Telebit WorldBlazer.

  18. Transmit is fine.  Transfer rates are just under 1400 cps for compressed
  19. news batches of sizes in excess of 100K.
  20.  
  21. However once the line turns round speed drops.  Transfer rates are 
  22. typically 750 cps.  
  23.  
  24. It doesn't matter which end intiates the call.
