  11. I am looking for papers which address the problem of the removal (or
  12. reduction) of the number of temporary tables created during the
  13. computation of an answer of a query against a view.

  15. Of particular interest is the determination of what class of
  16. query requires a temporary table, and whether any algorithms
  17. exist which will avoid temporary tables for a wider class of
  18. queries/views.
