- The width of screens is a part of a terminals definition found in TERMCAP.
- For some terminals, there will be a 'WIDE' and 'NARROW' version of the terminal.

- For example: A DEC vt220 has a TERM_INGRES setting of vt220. This will be an
- 80 character wide screen. If you would like 132 column mode display then use
- vt220w (for wide) as the value of TERM_INGRES.
