  13. I'm trying to set up a bar-coding system for use in a small warehouse
  14. along with an computer inventory system (which I've designed).  I need
  15. some help in finding reputable manufacturers/distributors of the
  16. reading/scanning equipment.  I'm particularly looking for scanners
  17. that will easily interface with PC's with little interface change (as
  18. in one that simulates keyboard input).

  20. I'd also be interested in wireless units (RF or IR), or one's which
  21. can download/upload information (and do some minor manipulations on
  22. that data, such as comparing a scanned code with a downloaded one, and
  23. count how many times an item is scanned).

  25. I don't know what's available, so any pointers to good sources (books,
  26. magazines, newsgroups, etc) would REALLY be appreciated.
