  29. The directory structure in [src.doc.ic.ac.uk] has been changed and I found
  30. the docs in /computing/ccitt/standards/ccitt/1988/ascii.  On ftp.uu.net
  31. the /doc/standards/ccitt directory is empty (perhaps things are being
  32. moved around at present).

  34. More important still, the documents (both ascii and postscript versions) are
  35. quite incomplete with lots of missing figures and messed up tables.  The
  36. following notice is in /computing/ccitt/standards/ccitt/1988 on
  37. [src.doc.ic.ac.uk]:

  45. At least the troff source should be readable I suppose.
  46. The postcript and ascii subdirectories both seem to have been derived from
  47. the troff sources.  The ascii files contain printer control characters which
  48. only makes things worse.

  50. Does anyone know if there are any better versions of these documents available
  51. by ftp?  Or better still, a good turorial (and detailed) explanation of the
  52. standards?
