- I am a bit behind in my message reading, so I am just catching up to the
- problems with the new ZIP programs. I encountered these first hand last night
- when I attempted to use unzip a file using my usual drag and drop technique
- in the Windows File Manager by putting the ZIPped file on top of PKUNZIP and
- letting it decompress. This has always worked perfectly in the past with the
- "old" version of PKUNZIP (1.10). But I got some very ugly errors, including a
- Windows "fatal". I am not using any unusual memory managers or anything weird
- in my computer, so this is a real pissoff! Even more so, because already one
- local BBS sysop has converted all of his MSDOS files (which he was
- compressing with LZH) to the "new" ZIP.
