  12. OK, now that the new PKZIP is out and that we all know that it is full
  13. if small, annoying bugs, could anybody check whether they have fixed
  14. at least that famous bug that allegedly caused them to delay the
  15. release for more than a year?

  17. They have released a program that checks for the presence of the bug,
  18. so you can check whether it exists on your machine (only 80486-based
  19. machines with external memory cacheing enabled). It doesn't exist on
  20. mine, so I am unable to check, but what the heck is the option '-('
  21. for in PKZIP? (Except the express the impression of the users of the
  22. new version, if you put a colon in front of it?)
