- As I said in an earlier posting, it seems that PKWARE has this time
- got the permission for exporting.

- But just for the argument's sake, consider the following. I
- imported the file from the States. That is different from someone
- exporting it. With the global electronic village we live in, there
- are just two options to stop us non-americans from importing such
- material. The first is not making it availabe IN THE STATES!!!! The
- second alternative is disconnecting the transatlantic telephone
- links, and severing the overseas computer links.

- Taken to its logical conclusion, no U.S. specific shareware can be
- legal in the States unless the North Americans cut off all the
- communication links with the rest of the world.
