  25. What I say next does not intend the slightest of offence to anyone.

  27. While meaning well, North American users often pose in this respect
  28. more xenophobic questions than they might realize, even when they
  29. state like you do that the US law do not apply in Finland.  We get
  30. material from all over the world to Garbo.  Taken to the extremes I
  31. would have to know the legislation and aberrations of each and every
  32. country that can somehow reach Garbo through the net.  That is
  33. impossible.  So is it fair that I should somehow be privy to US
  34. regulations in particular?  What makes them so special (a rhetorical
  35. question).

  37. I can assure you that I am a law abiding citizen, and I try to
  38. comply with the Finnish and the international laws.  But I have
  39. never seen any information on the international validity of this US
  40. per se absurd export law.  And until someone officially convinces me
  41. otherwise, I consider this debacle an entirely internal US problem. 
  42. (Perhaps I should coldly say that until officially approached, it is
  43. none of my business).

  45. I live in Finland and interact with the international community.  US
  46. is just one part of the latter, even if it often is an important and
  47. a dominant part.
