  12. I am trying to put together a macro to reformat an ASCII markup file (like
  13. PostScript but simpler) and have run into a few problems I can't quite 
  14. figure out from the macro help file:

  16.  * How can I move a highlighted block of text into a variable, something 
  17.    like  "assign variable blocked-text" or otherwise use it in an IF..ELSE
  18.    block?

  20.  * How do I move a block of text (highlighted again) into a separate part
  21.    of the document (or another document) for editing and then put it back
  22.    all under macro control?  (I think this will be easier than trying to
  23.    process the table markup rather than leaving it in place)
