I had no trouble getting my customized keyboard to include Grammatik when
I upgraded to WpWin 5.2.  I just told Wp I wanted to edit my keyboard,
and then I did nothing but save it.  The new menu options (e.g. Grammatik)
were automatically added.  I missed the start of this discussion -- did you
not try this, or did it not work?  The complete procedure is documented on
p. 25 of the upgrade manual.
