-
- Lately we've seen several occurrences of
-
- DMSSDM1151E File pool VMSYSU is unavailable
-
- and/or
-
- DMSJCA1152S File pool VMSYSU is unavailable; accessed directories for this
- file pool are released
-
- All the known occurrences have been in disconnected machines. Apparently
- each occurrence has affected only one user at a time, and no occurrence
- has involved an actual failure of the SFS server -- at least nothing so
- severe as to produce a message in the server console.
-
- This is a particularly disruptive error to have in a disconnected server,
- especially since you don't usually write code to handle the situation in
- which your file system disappears out from under you. We've had to move
- one application back to good old minidisks.
-
- A search on IBMLINK turned up nothing that looked pertinent. Any suggestions?
