- Dear Colleagues,
- I've used ibid and orbis just enough to know that it takes a
- while to get used to their little quirks. Rcently I've come across
- some other things I wondered if any other NB4 users had too.
- First ibidplus hides behind ibid when ibid's called up; I've got
- no option for calling ibidplus up. These are set menus so it's
- nothing to do with path names. I may not need ibidplus as ibid
- accepts plus-type data, but it's annoying.
- Secondly someone mentioned path names. Orbis put itself
- into my custom set, as did the name of my only orbis data set so far,
- but ibid and ibidplus aren't there. F1 to Set to Other to Access to
- Ibidsettings and Orbissetting, which is the only way I can see of
- inserting this kind of path name via the menu, gets me a message:
- install ibid, install orbis. (Again the program doesn't know I've
- got Ibidplus.)
- Maybe all this stuff wouldn't matter if I could open my
- default orbis base right away. As some of you know, it takes
- several steps, vacating the process in the middle and beginning
- again, and I'm getting less than charmed.
- Any knowledge or ideas? Thanks
