  12. Irv, I'd be careful of citing the Wellesley study recommended by Wini
  13. Wood.  I read in the Boston Globe (hardly a bastion of conservatism) the
  14. other day that that study and the wide media acceptance of it and its
  15. conclusions are coming under some heavy scrutiny.  The Wellesley Center
  16. is not any sort of disinterested research organization, apparantly, and
  17. its study's conclusions are not based on the kind of replicable research
  18. that empiricists would like.  Sorta like the Heritage Foundation doing
  19. a study on democratic socialism, I guess. . .
