  11. Emily, Wayne, Susanmarie and I are (still) hard at work putting together
  12. the program for the conference.  We're almost finished, so letters to
  13. proposers will go out early next week.  We had hoped to get them out
  14. in Dec, but with 300+ proposers for 200+ proposals--many of which were
  15. proposals for whole sessions--this has been a difficult job.  And, frankly,
  16. the high quality of the proposals hasn't made our jobs any easier.
  17. So pat yourselves on the back, you folks who sent in proposals, and
  18. please exercise just a little more patience.  And I think you can start
  19. to salivate over what promises to be one whing-dang doozie of a conference.
