  15. The Center for the Study of Higher Education at Penn State University has
  16. received a Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) grant to study the
  17. instructional uses of communication technology in Higher Education.
  18.  
  19.         We are in the process of developing a list of 15 institutions that
  20. have state-of-the-art, technology-rich learning and teaching environments.
  21. We will be making site visits to these institutions as part of the study.
  22.  
  23.         Following is a nomination sheet with a list of very general
  24. criteria that we have developed to help identify these institutions. Using
  25. these criteria, we would you like to nominate three institutions from each
  26. of the classifications indicated.

  28.         Please respond directly to me, not the the list.
  29.  
  30. This request will appear on several lists, please only responde once.
