- We just got a copy of MAA Notes series #22: Heeding the Call for Change
- sent to our (math) department. The first article, "Teaching Statistics"
- by George Cobb, reports findings of a Statistics Focus Group which
- was organized via e-mail. There's 40+ pages of very interesting reading
- for anyone teaching statistics (including a page on edstat-l!).

- The volume also includes an article on the undergraduate math major
- which advocates prob/stat as one of seven required components for
- a math major.
