  18.      I heard a media account some weeks ago of a study of a "choice/open
  19.   enrollment" (without vouchers) experiment in Des Moines, Iowa. The
  20.   brief account I caught said that after a couple of years the schools
  21.   were more segregated by economics and race than at the outset.
  22.      If any reader knows the facts, we would all be in their debt if they
  23.   would post them.   Thanks.
