  14. A study at KU showed that only librarians worried about it...the public
  15. couldn't care less.  I'd suggest that you poll your borrowers.  It's
  16. kind of like using Social Security numbers on drivers' licenses, etc.
  17. It's not supposed to be done, but almost noone gives two hoots, so it's done
  18. all over the place, with options for those few folk who DO care.
