  22. Certainly one of the classics, and one that stands re-reading.  Another
  23. Alfred Bester book to look out for is "The Demolished Man", also 
  24. excellent, as is a book of short(ish) stories, "Starburst" (I think
  25. that's the title).

  33. I've read a few of Turner's books, and "Brain Child" was the one I
  34. liked least.  The main character goes around interviewing a number
  35. of people of different backgrounds, but they all talk just the same.
  36. There's no real attempt at characterisation, which I found 
  37. disappointing.  My verdict  -  has done better.

  42. but he's a great storyteller.
