  13. The Theme I'm talking about this time has some practical consequences:

  15. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "ETHER-" AND "ASTRAL-PROJECTIONS":
  16.   According to old traditions the individual can be splited into several
  17. bodies (Brennen):
  18.  
  19. A) The physical body: Everyone knows it. It's build up with physical
  20.                       matter.
  21. B) The Ether-Body: It gives the physical body its shape and stability.
  22.    You'll loose this body sometime after the physical death. (A second
  23.    death). Its shape is always equal to that of the physical body.
  24.    BUT the ether-body will never loose a arm, a finger,....( It is
  25.    always complete - all life long|). Phantom-limb-pains are a conse-
  26.    quence of this.

  28. C) The "Astral-Body": Is totally different.
  29.    It has a "basic"-shape not equal to that of the ether-body but you
  30.    can change his form into what ever you wish only by thinking to do
  31.    so.

  33. These two bodies are build up with non-physical "finer" matter.
  34. Especially the "astral-matter" has laws not comparable to that known in
  35. physics. Thoughts creat forms not hands|
  36. Dreams also take place in the astral-sphere.

  38. D) "Higher" Mental-Body/ies: Sometimes called the "self". Robert Monroe
  39.    mentioned in "Far Journeys" that he made journeys without any body (|||).
  40.    He was just what may be called pure consciousness and left back a
  41.    "second" non-physical body.

  43. All these bodies (exept the physical) are built with non-physical matter /
  44. energy and so noone can measure anything with conventional measuring
  45. instrumens. Befor saying anything about non-physical matters scientists
  46. should think over this.
  47. REMARK: Dr. Duncan Mc Dougall determined the weight of the ether-body with
  48.         60...75 gramms.

  51. ETHER-PROJECTIONS:
  52. The ether-body and all the other bodies leave the physical. It's important
  53. for the seperating process that the you can't move your physical body,
  54. because the ether-body is primarly responsible for the physical motions.
  55. (Remember stories about people which are paralyzed without having any
  56. physical defects|). So all methods which make the body immmovable can be
  57. used.
  58. You can go where ever you wish BUT you'll always stay in the physical
  59. universe and you may feel the little weight of the ether-body.
  60. Maybe you feel or see the astral-"cord" which connects the ether and
  61. physical body.
  62.   REMARK: I belief that a little part of the ether-body remains in the
  63. physical and is linked with the rest of the ether-body by the astral-
  64. "cord". If the astral-cord is torn the rest of the ether-body is free and
  65. the physical body begins to dissolve.
  66.   The ether-body leaves the physical every night (and sometime during a
  67. dream - then you'll find some typical dream-symbols. - See Part One|)
  68. to get fresh non-physical energy. (comparable to a battery).

  70. ASTRAL-PROJECTIONS:
  71.   The astral-body and (all) the mental-body/ies go away and the physical
  72. and the hole ether-body stay back.
  73.   To get an "astral-projection" you must just releax your body and mind
  74. or you've an ether-projection and then "set your astral-body free".
  75. (REMARK: someone mentioned in this group having an OOBE within an OOBE -
  76. that's the explainations|)
  77.   THE "ASTRAL-PLANE" AND THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE ARE OPEN TO YOU. - VISIT
  78. who ever you wish (dead or alife)|
  79.   Your dreams also happen in the asral-plane but all things are created
  80. by you. (that's the reason why dream-interpretations works).
  81.   Read Brennan and you'll know more about the astral-body and the astral-
  82. plane|

  84. "MENTAL-PROJECTIONS":
  85.   The following ideas are mine but the I hope they may be useful to someone:

  87.   Your (higher) "mental"-body(ies) are "set free". This requires an (what
  88. may be called) higher spiritual development. So this will not happen very
  89. often and reported. - I think Monroe is one of those people. He visited
  90. worlds beyond space and time - worlds of "pure light and love".
  91.   The way to do this: Never stop developing your mind| (This could last
  92. many years.) Never say you are at the top of your development. (That's
  93. very hard as you know).

  95.   Now back to the earth. - There are so many things I didn't tell you but
  96. I hope you know now what OOBE's are.
