- Hi folks,
-
- Earlier tonight, after reading this newsgroup, I went to bed and decided
- to try out this oobe business. I tried to relax myself and let things
- flow, so to speak, with an ever-so-gentle suggestion towards an oobe.
- Well, nothing much happened unfortunately, so I figured I needed more
- practice and decided to try again tomorrow night. However, later on
- (I figure it was about 30 minutes later, considering the time now) while
- I was semi-asleep (I guess), I felt this MASSIVE accumulation of energy
- throughout my body. It felt kind of like a jet engine revving up. I
- don't know about objective time, but it felt like this went on for about
- 1 to 1.5 seconds and then a whole lot of sensations followed: The energy
- peaked, then I "felt" myself turning over in bed and "detaching" from the
- body, followed by an almost instantaneous WHOOSH whereby I "took off"
- upwards at an incredible speed. The closest analogy I can think of is
- like the Millenium Falcon in Star Wars which revs up and then takes off
- straight up very fast.
-
- Well, since the initial sensing of energy, I was very much aware of what
- was going on and, man, I was scared stiff. I wanted this oobe, but I was
- also chicken when it finally happened. Unfortunately, the chicken part
- of me won out this time and I summoned myself back to the physical body
- to rejoin. I felt the slight jarring sensation at the moment of rejoining,
- and then woke up. Initially I felt a little tired from the experience,
- but after a couple of minutes, I felt totally fantastic and rejuvenated.
- This is all the more remarkable because for the past couple of days I have
- had this miserable cold/flu and been feeling very tired and groggy. In fact,
- I went to bed early tonight for precisely that reason. Right now, however,
- I feel great...
-
- I will definitely try this stuff again. Maybe again tonight...
