- clearly out of control here. let's hope when that idiot sykes is out
- of there, sanity can return to fcc policy. i may not always like what
- stern has to say but i certainly think everyone else should be able to
- come to their own conclusion. if i don't want to hear stern, i change
- stations, not call the fcc to get him taken off the air.

- this raises a follow-on point; how are stern's ratings in chicago? according
- to first reports, not too good: he is currently 15th in the morning with a 1.9
- rating [steve and gary are pulling 3.5]. this rating is less than that of
- jonathan brandmeier when he was in that timeslot. this may be a bit of an
- unfair comparison, however, since jonny b. was simulcast on both wlup am & fm.
- notwithstanding, i don't care what jonny b. says, he's an idiot who wimped out
- and changed timeslots to avoid going head-to-head against stern.
