- OK, first off, I've never read the book, but this is what I've gathered in
- my 23 short years. "Lolita" is a classic piece of literature written by a
- man named Nabakov (Sp?). It is a lusty tale of seduction involving a young
- woman (student, Prostitute?) and an older man (teacher?). I'm not sure who
- seduced who. The Buttfuoccos (Sp?) and Amy Fisher live in Lon Giland
- (intentional) hence the term "Long Island Lolita".
-
- Hope this helps. Also, listen to Don't Stand so close to me by the police
- for a Lolita reference: "just like the old man in that famous book by
- Nabakov"
