  35. The tapes that are available in this country are not necessarily an uncensored
  36. product. In fact in many cases they are "tame" releases that have been specially
  37. made for consumption in countries like this. If you directly import movies that
  38. have not been approved by the censor then you are breaching customs regulations -
  39. just read the declaration for instance for "unaccompanied goods" of returning
  40. travellers - it specifically mentions videotapes.

  42. The "Uncensored Director's Cut" of many movies would not be legal to import into
  43. this country.

  45. Furthermore, Scandinavian-style pornography that you might choose to watch is not
  46. legal to import, or even possess, in this country. If you have it, you must have
  47. imported it and it is quite legal for customs agents to raid your home and seize it.

  57. led a pretty sheltered existence, or have broken a lot of laws !
