- When did I advocate determinism? The fact that everything is "a
- ripple on the face of something more complex" does not indicate that
- we are not talking about reality; it indicates that we can't do so as
- precisely as we would like or that the way reality looks is
- counterintuitive. Moreover, the expression of this thought seems to
- indicate that you think science _is_ attempting to discuss reality.
