  12. You forgot some neat things... all of the home shopping networks not
  13. selling at all (I would think Christmas would be the best time to sell--
  14. nobody has to work and they'd all be home and probably would impulse
  15. buy from their armchair).

  17. These home shopping network folks singing christmas carols (but not
  18. putting themselves into their singing...boring!).

  20. the SCPC stations that are talk went to christmas music.  I sure missed
  21. talk.

  23. the local Rush station playing christmas music -- well, at least I have
  24. SCPC -- right there on SCPC was RUSH!!!!! YEAAAAHHH!!!!!

  26. Mor MUSIC TV disappointing me by their christmas songs.  I thought they
  27. would be christmas music videos.  They were "slides" with songs from
  28. records -- no videos.

  30. most TV/radio networks cancelling a majority of their feeds -- they are
  31. only doing a few feeds today instead of their regular schedule of feeds.

  33. The syndies are still following their regular schedule.  Some slates
  34. are cute (Rudolph saying "Be good!", santa claus, frosty).  They
  35. were done in normal ASCII-type chars (a few high-ASCII IBM chars were used),
  36. pretty good considering what they (uplinkers with their chyron machines)
  37. had to work with.

  39. Christmas is so fun.  But New Years Day is the best!  Feeds from Times
  40. Square all over the place and that New Years West Coast celebration
  41. (if you haven't seen this before, you have to!!!!).  I found it on
  42. T1/17 last year with backhauls on SBS6 and GSTAR2 (what was GSTAR2
  43. then -- now that satellite is GSTAR4).
