- I have not personally used Creative Support Services, but I may have
- their demo CD in my collection. I have used Omnimusic on a needle-drop
- basis. I have also purchase two Gene Michaels CDs on a music buy-out
- basis. Needle-drop is ok for commercial and industrila work where
- you can bill the client for the costs of music and the shows are relatively
- short. It opens up a wide selection of music for you. For my special
- event work, needle drop would have been uneconomical. Buy-out music
- on CDs cost $50-100 per CD. You then get rights to unlimited use in
- your productions; you cannot sell rights to the music to other producers.
