  25. 1.)  Amiga was built around NTSC and video timing so that video hardware is
  26.      easier and less costly to design and manufacture.

  39.      CEO of Pepsico.

  46. My roomate is a Mac salesman and we looked at his price sheets but he's
  47. gone for X-max and I don't recall exact figures but it seems like the
  48. 950 w/o HD, monitor, keyboard, or mouse was still about as much as the
  49. A4000 ...like $2800 cost and Apple people mark them up to about $5000. 
  50. And then you have to buy Macstuff for it which is also expensive.

  52. The A4000 with 120 MB drive, keyboard, and mouse is $2693 if you have
  53. the cover of an old Amiga manual (Power-up Program).

  55. DMI's EditMaster is $2495 (list).  In I think the Jan. Macworld I read that
  56. the least expensive JPEG board for the Mac was $6000 and it is probably 
  57. not nearly as good.
