  16. A4000 is going for $2700 mail order.  Quadra 950 is going for $6000+
  17. mail order.  Rumors abound that C= is going to have a deal where
  18. you get an A4000 with an A1960 monitor, ADPro and DPaint AGA and
  19. Scala MM200 for $2600.  Having used both a fully loaded Quadra
  20. 950 (16M RAM, 400 meg drive, 24 bit) and owning an A4000 (18 M RAM,
  21. 425 meg drive, 24 bit), I can tell you that the Amiga graphics speed
  22. just leaves the Quadra in the dust.  Quicktime is a joke until you
  23. get up to using a machine like an SGI.
